How to play
- Read each post carefully, headlines can be misleading.
- Decide whether the claim is True, False, or
Unsure.
- You have limited lives. Incorrect True/False answers cost a life.
- Answering correctly earns points. Faster, confident answers earn a small bonus.
- Each game contains several rounds, each subtly focused on a different misinformation cue.
- After each round, the cue used will be revealed so you can reflect on how the post tried to
mislead you.
Using “Unsure”
- Choose Unsure if the evidence is missing, ambiguous, or the claim cannot be
judged confidently.
- In some cases, Unsure is the correct judgement.
- If a claim can be judged clearly, choosing Unsure gives fewer points but does not cost a life.
- Letting the timer run out counts as Unsure and earns fewer points.
